Real Steel star Hugh Jackman heads to the stage once again for a 10-week run on Hugh Jackman Back On Broadway, which starts previews October 25th. On the silver screen, Jackman is also set to play Jean Valjean in a film version of the musical Les Miserables, which will be directed by The King’s Speech filmmaker Tom Hooper.
Even with these two projects, the Boy From Oz star still has musical goals to set, as he’s trying to persuade Hollywood bigwigs to bankroll the musical Carousel (Gordon MacRae and Shirley Jones starred in the 1956 film).
