Making its series debut tonight on ABC-TV, LAST MAN STANDING marks the return of TIM ALLEN just 12 years after the final season of his hugely popular sitcom HOME IMPOROVEMENT. Much like in the previous series, ALLEN plays a “guys-guy” family man but the difference here is that he’s surrounded by three daughters instead of three sons. Joining him in the cast are NANCY TRAVIS, KAITLYN DEVER, MOLLY EPHRAIM and ALEXANDRA KROSNEY. Also on board (for a little testosterone backup) is veteran character actor HECTOR ELIZONDO.

ALLEN has made it perfectly clear that he’s not going to be reinventing the wheel with the show and just wants to produce a solid family sitcom. During our recent interview, he talked about returning to the tube. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
