Coming to television this week, the highly anticipated series AMERICAN HORROR STORY will reunite producer RYAN MURPHY with FX, the cable network that aired his popular series NIP/TUCK for six seasons. Telling the tale of a married couple who move their family from Boston to a haunted Los Angeles home, the series promises to be delightfully creepy as well as genuinely scary. Scheduled to debut in October, the 90-minute pilot is co-written and directed by MURPHY and features a cast that includes CONNIE BRITTON, DYLAN McDERMOTT, DENIS O’HARE, CHRISTIAN SERRATOS, FRANCIS CONROY and JESSICA LANGE.
At the recent press conference to promote the show, BRITTON admitted that she loves the series but she’s not exactly a fan of the genre. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
