Premiering tonight on Showtime, HOMELAND is a gripping new series about a U.S. prisoner of war who returns to the States a hero in the eyes of everyone except a rogue military analyst who thinks he may be a traitor. Breaking all the rules to prove her point, it becomes evident through her actions that she’s not a stable person. Directed by MICHAEL CUESTA (DEXTER, SIX FEET UNDER), the cast includes CLAIRE DANES, DAMIAN LEWIS, MANDY PATINKIN, MAURY STERLING and DIEGO KLATTENHOFF. A delightfully ambiguous game of cat-and-mouse, HOMELAND toys with the idea of heroes and villains leaving the viewer to wonder who the good guys really are.
At the press conference to promote the series, DANES talked about her attraction to the unhinged government agent she plays on the show. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
