Currently in theaters, DOLPHIN TALE is based on a true story and tells of a group of strangers who came together to save the life of a wild dolphin whose tail was severely damaged in a crab trap. Rescued and transported to a marine hospital, the dolphin was miraculously saved by a dedicated marine biologist and respected prosthetics doctor. Directed by CHARLES MARTIN SMITH, the cast includes HARRY CONNICK JR., ASHLEY JUDD, KRIS KRISTOFFERSON, NATHAN GAMBLE and MORGAN FREEMAN. A star of stage, screen and television, HARRY CONNICK JR. was excited to take on a project that was family-friendly and inspirational (even though he knew he was destined to be upstaged by a dolphin).
