Hugh Jackman, who will next be seen in Real Steel (opening October 7th), is looking forward to seeing Eddie Murphy as the next Academy Awards host.

“I cannot wait to see him do it,” says Jackman, who hosted the Oscars back in 2009.  “I think he’s probably been asked the last 25 years (to host), I’m guessing.  I watched his stand-up tapes when I was a kid. He’s one of the funniest guys out there.”

As for his own memories on hosting the Oscars, Jackman was entirely positive: “I will never forget hosting the Oscars. I still pinch myself that they asked me. I had a blast doing it.  I just hope one day I get to do it again.”
