Dancer/actor Kenny Wormald’s popularity factor should increase with the October 14th release of Footloose. The original film did wonders for Kevin Bacon’s career, and Wormald is obviously hoping for similar success.

Growing up in Boston, Wormald’s early passion for dance made him a bit of an outsider among his peers, a similar problem his character Ren faces in Footloose.

“(Ren) is fighting for what he believes in,” says Wormald.  “I do that myself.  I feel like everyone could relate to that a little bit.”
