Law & Order: SVU returns tonight for its thirteenth season. However, there will be a few major changes within the show. Christopher Meloini, who played Detective Elliot Stabler since the show’s inception, decided not to return. Also gone is BD Wong who played Dr. George Huang. SVU star Mariska Hargitay says it was surreal to be back and is excited for the new season. Hargitay goes on to talk about new cast members Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish joining the cast, along with some old familiar faces returning to the series.
