Harry Connick Jr. plays a doctor in Dolphin Tale, the true story of Winter, a dolphin is rescued and sent to the Clearwater Marine Hospital after damaging her tail in a crab trap.  Morgan Freeman co-stars as Dr. Cameron McCarthy, who is tasked with developing a prosthetic tail for Winter.

“(Dolphins) are not intelligent like we are,” says Connick Jr. “It’s like a parallel sort of intelligence where you may cross paths with them occasionally and feel like there’s a connection but it’s almost like they have an equal but separate type of intelligence.  It’s really hard to explain.  But every once in a while you get the sense that they know what’s going on, but that’s coming from a condescending perspective.”
