In Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Porn Star, Nick Swardson plays the titular character, a recently fired grocery store bagger who discovers his conservative folks once dabbled in the porn business.  The revelation inspires Bucky to move to Los Angeles and pursue his own acting dreams.  The story, based on a premise by Adam Sandler, was written by Swardson, Allen Covert, and Sandler.

“There’s crass moments, but we really wanted to ground it, and Sandler was really adamant about that,” says Swardson.  “And making these characters real.  That’s why we got these great actors, because they were so excited to get into these parts.”
