The FOX hit series House will be entering its eighth season when it makes its season premiere on October 3rd. This season will be quite different than others because Lisa Edelstein, who played Dr. Lisa Cuddy, decided not to return to the series. Edelstein has since signed on for a guest starring role on the CBS Emmy Award winning drama, The Good Wife.
While this is not the first time that a lead character has departed the series (i.e. Jennifer Morrison and Kal Penn), many feel that Edelstein’s departure will ruin the show. Hollywoodoutbreak.com recently spoke to Peter Jacobsen, who plays Dr. Chris Taub. Jacobsen told us that Edelstein’s absence will definitely be felt, but the show will go on.
