After working on 24 and the short-lived drama The Forgotten, Elisha Cuthbert enters the comedic realm with the sitcom Happy Endings. The show, which starts it second season September 28th (ABC, 9:30 pm et/pt), centers on the unpredictable lives of a formerly engaged couple (Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton) and their friends.

“Comedy’s been fun,” says Cuthbert. “I was terrified, I’m not going to lie. I was a little nervous. I knew from my day to day life I don’t take things too seriously. I like to have a good time and I wanted to see if I could make that translate on screen obviously. There was a little bit of fear, but fear is good. It makes you step out of your comfort zone and try something different.”
