Eleven-year-old Bailee Madison, who was the lone bright spot in Adam Sandler’s one-note comedy Just Go With It, headlines Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, playing a young girl who discovers creatures who live in her new home’s basement. L.A. Confidential’s Guy Pearce is her architect father, and Katie Holmes co-stars as her dad’s new girlfriend.
