It was a forgettable weekend for remakes as Conan the Barbarian and Fright Night managed a fourth ($10 million) and fifth ($8.3 million) place finish, respectively, as The Help was the #1 film over the weekend ($20.5 million).

Also suffering a dismal fate was the Anne Hathaway romantic drama One Day, which debuted at #9 with just $5.1 million.
