Once he got the directing job for Final Destination 5, filmmaker Steven Quale watched all four previous movies back to back for research.  And although the Final Destination films’ main draw are the gruesome deaths, Quale believes it’s the suspense before the victim’s inevitable demise that pretty much seals the deal.
