Rose McGowan (Charmed, Death Proof) stars in Conan The Barbarian as a witch named Marique.  Along with her warlord dad Khalar Zym (Avatar’s Stephen Lang), the pair serve as Conan’s (Jason Momoa) main nemesis in the film.

The project was shot during 12 weeks in different locations in Bulgaria.  “What was great about being in Bulgaria is that it’s so another world,” says McGowan.  “When you’re on a set like Conan The Barbarian…that world was primarily that world on set.  There were huge statues, massive sets, and Bulgaria really lent to that atmosphere of this kind of wild territory.  It wasn’t like you were going home after filming to hang out with your dogs or your friends.  You’re just in this world, 24 hours a day.  It was a pretty fun world to be a part of.”
