Another installment of Hell’s Kitchen (Fox, 8 pm et/pt) and MasterChef (Fox 9 pm et/pt) airs tonight as the chefs cook their best to see another day. Since I dig the intimidating presence of restaurateur Joe Bastianich (seeing his visible disgust at various dishes is a weekly highlight), MasterChef is more of my cup of tea. But once one gets over the frenetic pace (and rapid style editing) of Hell’s Kitchen, dedicating two hours to Gordon Ramsay television is not such a bad idea.
