Is it me or does Olivia Wilde, star of House, Tron: Legacy, Cowboys & Aliens, and now The Change-Up resemble evicted Big Brother member Cassi Colvin?
With the body switching comedy The Change-Up, Wilde plays Sabrina, a lawyer who has a crush on her colleague Dave (Jason Bateman). And although she seems reserved on the outside, still waters definitely run deep.
“She was a smart lawyer, very responsible,” says Wilde. “But at the same time, (she) was a wild woman. And I think that balance is healthy and that’s something I enjoyed bringing to the screen. Because I think too often our characters are one-dimensional and they don’t really had that balance. I knew that it would make it funnier because if you assumed she was this more conservative lawyer on top of her game at work you wouldn’t expect her to sit down on the date and order a scotch and order a tattoo. So I liked surprising in that way.”
Click on the media bar and listen to Wilde talk about feeling “very lucky” about her career (she mentions The Change-Up director David Dobkin in the clip):
The Change-Up opens nationwide Friday.
