X-Men: First Class, which took in over $344 million worldwide at the box-office, heads to Blu-ray and DVD September 9th, and X-Men enthusiasts brave enough to head to Comic-Con get a special shot at a free prize!

The first 1,000 fans to pre-order their copy of the disc during this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con will be given a limited edition T-shirt (X-Men enthusiasts can proudly wear their alliances, as the shirts say either “Team Erik” or “Team Charles”).  Fans can pre-order their copy during Comic-Con at Fox booth #4313 or online at www.FoxConnect.com.

As for the disc’s special features (the Blu-ray edition), they include:

*  10 Marvel X-Men Digital Comics

*  Two hours of never before seen extras which detail the making of the movie, as well as background information on mutants featured in the X-Men universe.

*  Deleted and extended scenes

*  Isolated score from the composer Henry Jackman

*  Theatrical trailer

However, the press release makes no mention of any commentary from director Matthew Vaughn, which is disappointing.  Thankfully, the film stands on its own, and deleted scenes are always welcome.
