Crazy, Stupid, Love.

In the new film Crazy, Stupid Love, Steve Carell is Cal, a middle aged guy who thinks he’s happily married until his wife (Julianne Moore) commits adultery and requests a divorce.  Shaken to his core, Cal finds temporary solace in the advice of a womanizer (Ryan Gosling), who helps him jump back into the dating pool.

With the supporting cast of Moore, Gosling, Kevin Bacon, and Emma Stone, I actually have solid expectations for Crazy, Stupid, Love - and Carell’s last stab at the comedy/drama genre (2007’s Dan In Real Life) was a success.  The picture opens nationwide July 29th, and hopefully it reaches similar creative heights as the aforementioned film (which also featured a winning performance from Juliette Binoche).
