Three chefs compete for a chance to serve Rocco DiSpirito and his guests on Rocco’s Dinner Party, a show that has grown on me thanks to DiSpirito’s rather frank (and a bit intimidating) treatment of the contestants.  Only two of the chefs (one is eliminated during the first round) advance to serve at the dinner party, with the winner walking home with $20,000.

DiSpirito has turned the page on his early days as a chef and a restaurateur (remember the reality series The Restaurant?), and now he’s a bestselling author.  In our summer interview with Mr. DiSpirito, he talks about why getting out of the “restaurant business” has led him to a more enjoyable (and healthier) lifestyle.  (click on the media bar below):
