Tom Hanks directs and stars in the comedy-drama Larry Crowne, the story of a recently unemployed man (Hanks) who receives a new education at a community college (Larry is not a college grad) and falls in love with a burned out teacher (Julia Roberts).

“(Tom) makes everybody feel part of it, participating in it, that their two cents are meaningful cents and it really is a collaboration,” said Roberts, who previously worked with Hanks in Charlie Wilson’s War.  “He really does create an environment that we’re all happy.  And we feel that we are doing our best stuff.”
