How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel stars in Bad Teacher as a gym teacher who has the hots for manipulative and crass colleague Elizabeth Halsey (Cameron Diaz).  Justin Timberlake co-stars as rich substitute teacher Scott Delacorte, who becomes the object of Elizabeth’s materialistic affections.

“To some extent, I’m the straight man,” said Segel.  “And I think in a small way I’m sort of the eyes of the audience a little bit.  I’m the one who pops in and calls her on her b.s., which I think is what the audience  kind of wants to do at some points.  I’m the character that gets to voice that opinion and that was really fun.  I got to come in and just kind of observe and try to get a couple of zingers in there, that was kind of my goal.  And then just be natural, it was very easy to act opposite Cameron and the rest of the cast.”
