Love is a drug, love is a battlefield, and sometimes love is a jungle. The new adventure dating series Love in the Wild places 10 single guys and 10 single ladies in Costa Rica to brave Mother Nature (i.e. hanging out in bat caves, swimming amidst crocodiles) and hopefully fall in love during the process. The winners of each specific challenge gets quality time at a luxurious bungalow, with the losers shacked up in cabins. Two contestants are eliminated after each episode.
“We’re not painting a fluffy, romantic picture of what a relationship is like,” said host Darren McMullen, who hosted the Australian version of Minute to Win It. “It’s not all champagne dinners and limousine rides on this show. They get to go back to cabins and live with each other so they get to experience what it’s like to live together. They share a room, they share a bed, and they go on challenges that test their stamina and their emotions. I think after going through some of the stuff these guys have went through, I think every day life will be a little bit easier for them.”
