I agree…I thought Haley gained momentum as the Idol competition progressed. She took chances, not all of them perfect, but she wasn’t afraid to make mistakes or cater to the Idol fans. I hope she has a solid career post Idol…

American Idol is a personality competition. Unfortunately that personality includes wholesome, bland, boring and boy or girl next door. These vinilla winners go on to be outsold by the runner-ups. Haley was a sexy, spunky spitfire and that scares the sh** out of the typical Idol voters.

I couldn’t stand Haley, she had the worst personality of any top 3 finalist ever, and her singing was like a lawnmower starting up. Terribe.. can’t remember a worse top 3 finalist .. If she was great and had a personality to match she would have been in the top three. American idol isn’t a singing compition its a personality compitition and Haleys personality rubbed American the wrong way. Glad 2 honest and talented young people with American values and traditions made it to the finale. Winner Scotty McCreery.

The only moments delivered this season were by Haley and she had several. Now if Steven is talking about the faux great performaces that the judge tried to fake us with now that is a different story.

I have one hope: it’s to not fall asleep on that show! Just watched the top 3 show and went zzzzz (between Haley’s songs, she should have made it to the top 3!)

Hmmm…that’s interesting because I don’t remember one “great” performance by either of the Hee Haw twins all throughout the competition. Good, sure, passable, okay, bad, that’s a given. But great. Nope. Sorry.
