The freshman TNT series Franklin & Bash centers on two charismatic attorneys, Jared Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Peter Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), who land a job at the high powered Los Angeles law firm Infeld Daniels. Malcolm McDowell is Stanton Infeld, the leader of the firm and a mentor to the young men.
While promoting the show earlier this year, Gosselaar compared his latest job with his previous TV series, Raising the Bar. “Honestly I miss working with David Feige, I miss working with Steven Bochco, but to play that character…he was so righteous all the time,” said Gosselaar. “I miss the nobility of playing a public defender and I thought it was great and we hadn’t seen that on television, but I’m having a much better time doing (Franklin & Bash). (Raising the Bar) was so heavy all the time. It’s just nice to be on a show that is just a little lighter and more entertaining in a way.”
