Now that Law & Order: L.A. has been revamped and been given a second chance to connect with the audience, series star Rachel Ticotin is certain viewers are going to enjoy just how full of a city Los Angeles is.

The actress says that LOLA will now be focusing in on the real City of Angels, rather than just the celeb haven that’s usually shown on television.

“I think for the writers, the director and the actors also, when you start seeing it put together you also start seeing where the strengths and the weaknesses are,” Ticotin acknowledges. “You have to sort of keep retooling even as an actor. It’s not the same as it is in other TV series where Los Angeles is the backdrop. We don’t focus on the usual things of the palm trees and Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills and the beach. We have other areas and there are other areas. When you live in Los Angeles you start to realize, wow, this is a massive city and to just focus on one area is sort of ridiculous.”
