Medusa, the fire-breathing car from the upcoming action flick Bellflower (due out August 5th, 2011), will be making its way to the Big Apple in time for the New York International Auto Show this week.

OK, this monster car won’t win any awards for being green, but it will make an impression on those of us out there who love a hot ride with plenty of guts.

Medusa is equipped with two fuel injected exhaust flamethrowers with a 30,000 volt ignition system, smoke screen, a bleach drift-kit, adjustable rear suspension, three surveillance cameras (all in which are controlled from the dashboard), a customized apocalypse exhaust system, 6-71 Supercharger, posi rear end, a self-contained oxygen supply for chemical or underwater warfare, a roll cage, stow-able fold-down back seat and occasionally holds a sawed-off shotgun in the trunk in case of emergency.

The car will be on display April 25th, 26th and 27th at booth 1532 (the Batmobile booth) on Level 1 of the Exhibition floor. The auto show takes place at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC.

Fasten your seatbelts and check out this bad boy in the trailer below.
