John Travolta and the cast of Welcome Back, Kotter are honored with the 35^th Anniversary Award from TV Land’s Annual Award Show, that Travolta calls “absolutely the coolest night in television.”

Also awarded are Bill Cosby and the cast of The Cosby Show (Impact Award), Michael J. Fox and the cast of Family Ties (Fan Favorite Award), the cast of The Facts of Life (Pop Culture Award), Regis Philbin (Legend Award) and Daryl Hall and John Oates (Music Icon Award).

The show begins with a surprise performance of the classic tune New York, New York by Liza Minnelli. Awards presenters included Barbara Walters, Stevie Wonder, Ben Stiller, Jane Lynch, Paul Reiser, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the cast of The Real Housewives of New York.
