3D 'teleview' in cinema began in 1922
The 3D camera system developers behind Avatar, James Cameron and Vince Pace, announced that they are starting the Cameron-Pace Group to continue new technologies with 3D broadcasting.
“Broadcasting is the future of 3D,” Cameron said at the National Association of Broadcasters Show in Las Vegas. “everything will be produced in 3D.”
The new organization is a reconstruction of the (Vince Pace’s) Fusion camera system company, PACE.
Patrick Campbell (current PACE president) will reportedly be reconfigured as chief technology officer.
Cameron says the new era will be here in two years (or so).
