Danny McBride and James Franco are brothers who go on a hero’s quest in the medieval fantasy comedy Your Highness, a feature which also features Natalie Portman as a warrior who aids them in their journey. Zooey Deschanel plays the damsel in distress (and Franco’s love interest) in the film. David Gordon Green, the filmmaker behind Pineapple Express, works once again with Franco and McBride with Your Highness.
“It was a blast reuniting. Working on Pineapple Express was probably the most fun I ever had making a film mainly because of the people I was working with,” said Franco. “So it was just so fortunate that we got to do it again with a bigger budget and an even kind of crazier premise.”
