The Biggest Loser is taking the contestants to New Zealand. It’ll pay off well for those remaining players as they experience the beauty of the country along with adventurer activities like Sky Jumping, Canyon Swinging and Bungee Jumping.

Unfamiliar with those tourist attractions? Well, apparently Sky Jumping is all the rage in New Zealand. The adventurer – or victim if you will – is wired up for the equivalent of a base jump. The fall is 192 meters and the rate of speed is 83 km (roughy 50 m.p.h.) in a freefall…that comes to a smooth halt as the ground appears.

Canyon Swinging is set up as a platform at the edge of a cliff (360 feet above the Shotover River). Each person is fitted into a seat and chest harness, then they are connected to the jump ropes. It’s not cumbersome. No way, the point is to leap off the cliff from any position and let gravity do the rest…which is to pull you quickly downward toward the rocks…then smoothly guide the swinger away from what would normally be certain death.

Do New Zealanders know how to party or what?

NBC is calling it the adventure of a lifetime, but that’s probably because their lives are passing before them while participating in each one of these adrenaline-junkie activities.

Our advice: up the MAO-inhibitor enzyme.

The two episodes, that includes a 5K racing through water, up huge sand dunes and across the beach, are schedule for April 12th and April 19th, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
