Controversial Glen Beck will apparently be moving into other projects with Fox as his hour-long TV show runs its contractual course for this year.
In a statement, Roger Ailes (Fox News Channel CEO) said “Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody’s standards…I look forward to continuing to work with him.”
Beck returned the compliment in his statement with “I truly believe that America owes a lot to Roger Ailes and FOX News…I cannot repay Roger for the lessons I’ve learned and will continue to learn from him and I look forward to starting this new phase of our partnership.”
Reportedly, Beck’s TV revenues account for only a tidbit of his income, with the lionshare coming from books, syndicated radio, websites and more.
But Beck will still be using TV to do what many advertisers have been boycotting his show; for sticking his finger in the political and cultural left’s eye.

Glenn you will be missed… I have always loved your show and agreed with most of your reports. You told all of the losers the truth (as best as anyone could) but they do not want to listen!!! I miss the country I grew up in! I would like some things to change but the change that we all got (starting with Bush and now Obama) is not the change that any real American should want. I’m very disappointed to see Glen’s show come to an end. While I don’t always agree with him and have trouble buying SOME of the connections he draws, I think it’s VERY important to hear his views and analysis; especially on stories/issues that don’t get a lot of play either on other Fox News shows OR the mainstream media. In JUST the same way I think it’s important to hear the arguments made by the extreme left. Without BOTH sides of the story it’s nearly impossible to come to a truly informed conclusion!
It irks me to NO END to read comment’s like “GW” made calling Beck a racist! Nothing can be further from the truth and, in fact, I think he has done more to treat people equally, and fight for equal treatment, than most liberals who continue to treat minorities as inferior under the guise of “helping” them! Equal means “equal” - NOT “SPECIAL!” A concept totally lost on people like poster, “GW!”

Glen Beck is a loony toon who makes stuff up. He is the ultimate example of why America is failing. Those of you who think he tells the truth need to read a book or three and find out what is really going on in this country instead of listening to
these loopy characters. There are many books on the economy these days, the best IMHO are written by guys who worked inside these big financial firms. You will be shocked at how we’ve let these banks gamble with our money. It is quite simply what went wrong.

I’m all for analyzing both sides of an argument, but when you have figures like Beck who are so far to the right, just like their extreme left counterparts…there is no reasoning with people like these.
Please people, remember to always take ANY news you consume with a grain of salt, no matter the source. Only then, once you are able to recognize both sides of an argument can you truly consider yourself informed. Impartial news reporting is increasingly non-existant these days. Do not consider entertainers like Beck (which they are first and foremost) to be true journalists.

i will miss you. I know God has used you in a mighty way. Thanks for telling the truth. I wish we had you on radio here in Indy.!! Thanks to you I have been able to talk to my kids in a real way when someone else can prove it . Thanks for coming into my home every week night @ 5.

I agree with 90% of the people who have responded, BUT I would like to know the individual names of the advertising companies that brought this about!! That way I can be sure to boycott their interests!!

Three years ago I was a police officer and got shot in the line of duty. I have been disabled since that time. I started watching Fox News and absolutely loved the Glen Beck hour. I pracically watched Fox every minute I was home, because of Mr. Beck. He has the guts to “tell it like it is”. I feel that Fox caved in and let him go because of Soros and his cronies. I would like to see how many viewers you will have during Mr. Beck’s hour now. I now watch Fox very little as I am so dismayed about this situation. I never thought you would do this. If Mr. Beck is still working for you why doesn’t anyone tell us when he will be back on the air. At that time I will turn my TV back on.

Glen, Im so sorry to see you leave the program, as you are just about the only one who has the guts, to truly tell the public the truth, and always back up what you say, with evidence. I am so blessed to have listened to your program for such a long time. May God, bless you in what ever you do now.
