Wednesday night (Fox, 9:30 pm et/pt) is the premiere of the new series Breaking In, a half hour comedy show that centers on the misadventures of a high tech security firm led by a dude named Oz (Christian Slater, whose last two shows My Own Worst Enemy and The Forgotten met an early demise). Rounding out the team are a sexy bad girl named Melanie (Odette Annable), logistics expect Cash (Alphonso McAuley), and computer hacker Cameron (Reaper’s Bret Harrison).
“She’s kind of a bad ass,” says Annable about her character. “She works with all these guys in an office, so she’s got to hold her own. She’s a tough cookie. She rides a motorycycle. She’s the team’s lockpicker. She cracks codes. She does things that are way cooler than I would ever do in real life, so it’s very fun playing her.”
