bana1 In the action-thriller Hanna, Eric Bana plays an ex-CIA agent who trains his daughter (Saoirse Ronan) how to be a nearly unstoppable fighter.  Raised in the forests of North Finland, Hanna (Ronan) is finally ready to go out into the world and face an intelligence operative (Cate Blanchett) bent on hunting them down.

“It’s obviously a heightened sense of reality and an unconventional relationship,” said Bana.  “I enjoyed the way the pieces of information were slowly revealed in the script.  I thought that was very smartly done.  I love reading the first ten pages (of the screenplay) and thinking, ‘What the hell is going on here, why are two people in a cabin in the snow somewhere?’  There is this kind of fantastical thriller aspect to it that I really, really loved.”
