Jena Malone (Into The Wild) stars in director Zack Snyder’s girl power action film Sucker Punch, and the actress had a rather profound creative experience during production.

“This is a life altering experience for me,” said Malone, who plays a woman named Rocket in the picture, which also stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, and Vanessa Hudgens.  “I’ve never been challenged so much, not only just as an actress but as a woman.  I’ve never been asked to do so many different things and also being able to rise to the challenge of them is the most rewarding thing in the world.  On top of that getting to work with four other young women, right alongside each other, sweating, bleeding all there together, supporting each other, getting to see each new personal best being beat every single day.  It was just incredible.”
