SOURCE CODE

Source Code, directed by Moon filmmaker Duncan Jones, centers on soldier Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) who is tasked with finding the bomber of a Chicago commuter train.  Although the catastrophe has already occurred, the soldier is able to go back in time as another human being and connect with the passengers, which includes a woman named Christina.  The movie’s central theme lies in what would someone do if they had a chance to re-live a certain section of their life.

“I’m a real big believer in things happening for a reason,” said Monaghan when asked if she would change anything about her past. “There’s not a lot of things in my life I’d think I’d do over. The good and the bad, we’re all here and meant to be here for various reasons.  I would like to have eight minutes maybe back and experience my wedding (she is married to graphic artist Peter White) all over again.  That was such a blur and a whirlwind and I made the mistake of not videotaping it.  I kick my self for it every day!  I don’t know what I was thinking, but that’s something I’d like a do over.  I’d like to re-do that first dance really, take some dance lessons prior before doing it.”
