Liv Tyler, whose film career has taken a backseat to raising her six-year-old son Milo, stars in the upcoming indie drama Super with Rainn Wilson.  During the promotion of the film, Tyler was asked about her thoughts on her dad’s (Steven Tyler) new gig as an American Idol judge.

“I think he’s doing an amazing job, I’m really proud of him,” said Tyler. “As a family, we’ve had a rough few years but he has gone through a lot in the past couple of years and I am so proud of him and he is just - he’s really happy.  And he’s been really brave and I think that having the opportunity to do something absolutely new at this age.  He’s a real musician and he loves his music more than anything in the world but it most be so thrilling and awakening for him to be doing something completely new and to have such a success at it.”
