For allegedly not paying him stock awards for his efforts in making Sirius the surpassing satellite radio provider, Howard Stern is suing Sirius XM Radio Inc.
Through his attorney, Stern says his program was an important impetus in the radio service’s growth, expanding Sirius’s subscriber targets and thereby creating new stock options for him.
Sirius moved from a far-away second place to acquiring industry-leading XM in 2008. Stern went Sirius satellite in January of 2006.
No word from Sirius, but they just got the lawsuit papers today.
