Jane Eyre actress Mia Wasikowska, one of Hollywood’s most promising young actresses thanks to her work in Alice in Wonderland and The Kids Are All Right, is also an avid photographer.  Shooting with a Rolleiflex camera, Wasikowska’s love for photography was further enhanced by her collaboration with director Gus Van Sant in the upcoming feature Restless.

“(Restless) was one of the first films where I felt really encouraged to take my photography and continue it during the filming,” said Wasikowska.  “Because I shot Restless before Jane Eyre and Gus is very encouraging.  And I love his photography, he always shows me his books.  The way he shoots things, he really is a photographer’s director.”
