“I’m too superstitious to do that at this stage,” La Repubblica reported that Allen said.  “I’m still at the screenplay stage, and so it would be silly to say more.”

All referring to Allen’s new summer film to be shot in Rome.  No title and nothing else, but it’s made news just because it’s been confirmed.

This makes the fourth European city that Allen has chosen for his last films, including London (Match Point), Barcelona (Vicky Cristina Barcelona), and Paris (Midnight in Paris).

“I love these sophisticated cities and it’s fantastic to have the possibility to work there,” The now 75-year old Allen said. “Each time it is for me like a declaration of love for certain places. I try to project my feelings for places that are important to me onto the big screen.”
