“I think his energies, intelligence and passion could be both of service and servicing to him, as it is to all who are touched by the struggle of the Haitian people,” Sean Penn tells UsMagazine.com. “Charlie is one of the very few public people who cannot be accused of using the media to his own benefit.”
Is he talking about Mother Teresa? Albert Schweitzer?
No, It’s that other great humanitarian, Charlie Sheen.
After Sheen told UsMagazine.com that he planned to go to Haiti, Penn says that the Two and a Half Men star is welcome to join him in his efforts in the nation, which is still suffering from the January 2010 earthquake.
Forgive my ignorance, but what did Penn mean that Charlie can’t be accused of using the media for his own benefit?
