Anna Faris in 'Take Me Home Tonight' (Ron Batzdorff/Relativity Media)

Actress Anna Faris has maintained a steady career ever since her breakout role in the 2000 movie Scary Movie, and she is back on the silver screen in the 1980s set comedy Take Me Home Tonight. During her earlier days as a performer, Faris was just another struggling artist with a pocketful of dreams. “I sort of took a leap of faith after I graduated college.  I decided to move to L.A. and give it a year and see what would happen,” said Faris, who is married to actor Chris Pratt.  “That took a long time for me to bite the bullet and say ‘okay, I’m going to give acting a shot.’  Because it was so terrifying.”  Click on the Media Bar and listen to Faris talk about her “tsunami bangs” from the 1980s (co-star Dan Fogler is also heard in the clip).
