OK, it is Oscar weekend, but that doesn’t mean you should hold off from seeing the new movies debuting Friday. Though it is clear that the choices are limited.

Hall Pass stars Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis as Rick and Fred, a couple of pals whose wives Maggie (Jenna Fischer) and Grace (Christina Applegate) give their husbands an entire week off from their marriages.

All goes well until Maggie and Grace begin looking for a little extramarital action themselves. And the guys start to realize that their expectations are not nearly as satisfying as reality.

Drive Angry in 3D follows the story of a vengeful father (Nicolas Cage) who escapes from Hell and begins chasing after the men who killed his daughter and kidnapped his granddaughter.

Anyone else asking themselves what the heck happened to Cage’s career and why he’s choosing comic book movies all the time now?
