The holiday weekend produced considerably weak numbers at the box office, but the Liam Neeson thriller Unknown still managed to bring in $21.7 million and position itself in first place.

The sci-fi thriller, I Am Number Four landed in second place with an unimpressive box office take of $19.4 million.

Disney’s animated feature Gnomeo and Juliet, based on William Shakespeare’s classic story Romeo and Juliet took in an additional $19.2 million for its second week in theaters. The pic, which was in third place for its debut held onto that position this week.

Just Go With It, the Adam Sandler-Jennifer Aniston romantic-comedy dropped from first place to fourth for its second week in theaters. It brought in an estimated $18.4 million in additional revenue, still nearly $20 mil away from its $80 mil budget.

Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son is in fifth position in its first week out. It brought in an estimated $16.2 million between Friday and Monday, which is halfway to meeting its $32 mil budget.
