Director Juame Collett-Serra teams up with producer Joel Silver once again with the thriller Unknown, the story of a doctor (Liam Neeson) who believes his identity has been stolen by another man (Aidan Quinn).  Collett-Serra showed immense creative growth with his 2009 effort Orphan (also produced by Silver), a picture surrounded by talented actors (Peter Sarsgaard, Vera Farmiga, CCH Pounder).  With Unknown, Collett-Serra ensures his genre film is once again populated by more than capable thespians (Diane Kruger, January Jones, Quinn, and of course Neeson).  “I’ve been a fan of Liam’s for a long time, probably ever since I was born because he was already making movies,” said Collett-Serra, who also directed the 2005 horror picture House of Wax. “I think he has both the physical intensity and the emotional intensity and makes everything really compelling. And that was the one thing that was important with this movie.  You really get to feel what the character is going through and Liam did a fantastic job.”  Unknown is a suspense film that pays a slight homage to Alfred Hitchcock, and Collett-Serra explains why Berlin was the perfect location to shoot his latest film:
