One of the biggest perks of landing Big Mommas House: Like Father Like Son for Brandon T. Jackson was getting the chance to work with showbiz vet Martin Lawrence “With Martin, working with him, it’s amazing,” said Jackson, who, like Lawrence, had the task of playing two roles (Trent/Charmaine) in the comedy. “When you do something with Martin Lawrence, how can you not love that? So doing Big Mommas, it’s amazing, definitely.” Jackson, who checked out Tootsie and Ms. Doubtfire to prepare for the project, talks about the joys of being an actor:

Big Mommas House: Like Father Like Son, which was directed by Big Mommas House 2 filmmaker John Whitesell (he also directed a critically maligned comedy I dig, the Danny DeVito/Matthew Broderick flick Deck the Halls), opens Friday.
