Twenty-year-old actor Alex Pettyfer stars in I Am Number Four as one of the last remaining Loriens who is being hunted down by another group of aliens named the Mogadorians (led by Lost actor Kevin Durand).  Pettyfer had to master several stunt scenes in the feature, which was directed by Disturbia filmmaker D.J. Caruso. “D.J. creates this amazing this amazing set and atmosphere around you and you kind of forget that you are doing a stunt” said the British actor, who will also be seen with Vanessa Hudgens in the drama Beastly.  “Maybe because you are in character but when you are running down a hallway and the building is getting smashed behind you, you really feel like you are being chased by a Piken (a Piken is a monster controlled by the Mogadorians).  Or when you are doing a back flip off a cliff you forget that there’s wires there.  You think, ‘oh my God I have to land this, I have to get this right right.’ It’s a weird feeling.”  Pettyfer’s proudest production moment came when he did a back flip off a cliff!!  Click on the Media Bar and listen to him recount shooting that challenging sequence.
