“Basically it’s steak or chicken, broccoli and cauliflower, and sometimes rice but only up until lunch time,” Hugh Jackman told FOX411 (Pop Tarts). “That’s it eight times per day. It’s like a job in itself.”
Jackman’s special diet is 6,000 calories per day.
“I got the diet from (The man with the Greek-godlike body) Dwayne Johnson, he put on 25 pounds for his last film and I saw him and was like, ‘wow’ so I called him up and he gave me his exact diet.”
The over-development is for Jackson’s upcoming role in the next Wolverine film.
The complete regimin includes tons of weightlifting to rearrange all those incoming calories into sculpted muscle. Jackson says he needs another 15 to 25 pounds of delts, bi’s-tri’s, neck, lats and pecks, then he’ll lay the weights and the fork down.
Of course the quicker, easier way to bulk-up is just inject steroids. But that’s illegal in some countries.
