Per your recommendation as well as others, I must check out Howl..I wonder if Tom Sturridge will do a good job as the Ginsberg inspired character in On The Road. I actually felt that Fincher did a great job on The Social Network..as directors thought he and Nolan did the best job this year. Overall, I just thought it was a pretty weak year for film..and
as much as I liked The King’s Speech - the fact that this film is the frontrunner for Best Picture is disappointing. FYI really dug your top 10..now I have to go check out Devil.

I thought The Social Network was severely overrated and got most of its attention due to the subject matter rather than the movie as a whole. I’m a big David Fincher fan and he’s never let me down. Good movie but it didn’t make my Top Ten. I thought Howl was by far the best movie of the year with its combination of animation, acting (James Franco as Allen Ginsberg), and cinematography.
